I've followed the volunteers and the riders. It's a sport ruled by the Russians. And this world Championship (held in Assen, Netherlands) only stil exists because of all the volunteers. Their average age is 70 years of age. Without them it would have all been finished years ago. And they are getting older... The riders all look 'rough & ready'. They aren't in it for the money. For most of them it's hard work to get by...
